About the Course

Nutrition timing refers to the practice of considering not just what you eat, but when you eat it relative to physical activity. Research suggests that the timing of nutrient intake can influence how your body uses those nutrients during and after exercise. This course explores those concepts in practical, accessible terms for people who are not competitive athletes.

Yes. The Foundations Track is specifically designed for people with no prior nutrition knowledge. All terms are explained from scratch. You do not need to know anything about macronutrients, metabolism, or exercise science to follow the material.

No. This is an educational course about concepts and principles, not a prescribed meal plan. We do not tell you what to eat on specific days or at specific times. That kind of individualized guidance requires a registered dietitian who knows your full health context. Our course explains the reasoning behind timing concepts so that you can make more informed choices on your own.

No dietary approach is endorsed. This includes popular frameworks like keto, paleo, veganism, intermittent fasting, and others. Where relevant research involves specific dietary patterns, we describe the research neutrally without recommending any of those patterns as preferable. The course is compatible with virtually any dietary approach you already follow.

Supplements are not endorsed, evaluated, or recommended in any module. The course focuses entirely on whole-food nutrition timing concepts. Some modules acknowledge that supplements are a category people encounter, but no products of any kind are discussed in purchasing terms.

Course Format and Access

Each track is designed to be worked through comfortably in a few weeks of casual, self-directed study. There are no timed sessions or deadlines. You can take longer, move faster, or pause between modules entirely. The self-paced structure is intentional.

Yes. The tracks are designed to complement each other. Many people start with the Foundations Track and move into the Active Mover Track as their confidence and activity level grow. The Habit Integration Track is designed to pair well with either of the other two.

All course content is accessible from any device with a web browser. No app download is required. The interface is designed to work well on smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers.

Yes. Access to your track is not time-limited. You can return to any module at any time. This is by design. As your activity level changes, revisiting earlier material often reveals new relevance that was not apparent the first time through.

Content and Scope

This course is educational content intended for generally healthy recreational movers. It does not address medical nutrition therapy, condition-specific dietary needs, or clinical management of any health condition. If you have been diagnosed with a health condition, are pregnant, or have been given specific dietary instructions by a healthcare provider, please consult that provider before making any changes based on educational content.

The course draws on established nutritional science and exercise physiology research. Where evidence is mixed or where newer research has complicated earlier findings, that context is included. Nutrition science evolves, and the course is designed to teach principles rather than present any single finding as absolute truth.

Weight management is not the focus of this course. The material is about the relationship between eating timing and physical activity, not about body composition goals. While some concepts covered may be relevant to people thinking about weight, the course does not frame nutrition timing as a weight loss strategy.

The course is designed for recreational movers and fitness beginners, not competitive or elite athletes. People training at a high competitive level typically have nutritional needs that are more specific and nuanced than what a general educational course can address. A sports dietitian working with your training program would be a more appropriate resource in that context.
